Line 1 is known as the Investigator, and sometimes the Researcher or the Explorer. When you sit with those words and feel into them, you'll notice that they speak of a person who has opinions backed by evidence. You go deep before going wide, and your authority in your field is from earned knowledge.
As a Line One, you are a natural subject matter expert providing methodology, research, experience and due diligence to support every claim. This is extraordinarily powerful in business, as your audience feels your credibility rather than hearing something sounding credible.
You thrive in podcasts, stages, summits, blogs, and articles, providing visible authority and depth to surface-level commentary. Your online content shares your opinions backed by everything you've researched, tested and proven.
The Shadow Side of Line 1: When Research Becomes a Hiding Place
The same quality that makes you a deeply respected expert, committed to doing the work, and knowing your field inside out, can also become the very thing that takes you out of the game.
The cycle of:
“Just one more course”
“Just one more certification”
“Just one more round of research before I launch”
“Just one more qualification before I raise my prices”
It can feel like being diligent and responsible, but if you're honest with yourself, underneath this are fears that include being judged and not being enough. You will feel whispers of Imposter syndrome saying that you haven't quite earned your place yet.
